Why You Should Attend

Live Online Workshop: Advanced Operational Risk and Resilience

To ensure we meet your expectations and maximise your return on training investment, we favour a classroom/workshop style set

Operational Risk continues to pose significant challenges for every financial institution.  Risks covered by the discipline range from current hot topics including cyber, IT in all its forms, outsourcing, data management and operational resilience through traditional risks including regulatory, financial, crime, and conduct to new and emerging risks. Effective Operational Risk Frameworks are built on strong governance and effective culture. They also employ a comprehensive categorisation for causes, risks and impacts and set clear and measurable risk appetites.

This programme is designed to increase the understanding of operational risk management in the light of new and emerging threats. The programme includes a review of the essential foundations of an Operational Risk Framework, the available tools and techniques and covers issues that will impact the effectiveness of the framework and the value added. The course will also cover risk governance, roles and responsibilities and emerging Operational Risk issues. They will be addressed with a focus on practical case studies and interactive examples.

A detailed questionnaire will be sent to all course participants to establish exactly where the group training needs lie. The completed forms will be analysed by the course leader/trainer and followed by telephone if further clarification is required.
