Why You Should Attend

Finalising post-crisis reforms- from Basel III to Basel IV

To ensure we meet your expectations and maximise your return on training investment, we favour a classroom/workshop style set

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has published its final documents on the reform of Basel III, which are commonly called “Basel IV”.The reforms comprise significant changes of key capital elements, in particular credit risk and operational risk. The Basel IV papers show a significant amount of modifications that will have varying effects on individual banks, especially in the European Union and the United Kingdom. In order to prepare for the upcoming reforms banks will need to assess the finalized documents and its impact on the bank’s balance sheet, profitability, strategy and infrastructure/processes.

This 2-way workshop provides a comprehensive overview/perspective of how banks need to tackle the prudential regulation, i.e. achieving compliance with high standards of supervision in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
