Economic Capital Modeling for Insurers
To ensure we meet your expectations and maximise your return on training investment, we favour a classroom/workshop style set up for the delivery of our courses. Please note we have therefore limited number of spaces available and these will be assigned on a first come, first accepted basis. We recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.
How will you benefit?
The importance of economic capital in the risk assessment and overall management of an insurance organization has evolved substantially over the last decade. Through a combination of changing market dynamics, increasing expectations from supervisors, rating agencies, and other stakeholders, and advances in modeling sophistication, economic capital has emerged as an essential metric for insurers. Advanced organizations create demonstrable competitive advantages by elevating economic capital from a theoretical or compliance-driven exercise to a critical decision making input. In this course, we will discuss the latest capabilities and modeling techniques and explore how your organization can implement a value-added economic capital framework.
