“Overcome operational and regulatory challenges to make independent stress testing ‘business as usual’”

How will you benefit?

As supervisory expectations continue to shift from “set-piece” exercises to more broad-based activities and the importance of integrated planning for capital management and forecasting increases, banks are struggling to keep up with the Fed’s demands let alone thinking of creating a more independent approach to stress testing.

Qualitative assessment of such activities and processes relating to capital planning forms an integral part of Fed’s supervisory approach. Institutions’ non-compliance may even lead to the Fed halting capital distributions to shareholders.

This course provides an an in-depth content overview from a practitioner’s perspective on how to develop capabilities to comply with qualitative supervisory requirements, including processes for governance, risk identification and internal controls, aimed at meeting regulatory requirements for capital planning.
