To ensure we meet your expectations and maximise your return on training investment, we favour a classroom/workshop style set

To ensure we meet your expectations and maximise your return on training investment, we favour a classroom/workshop style set up for the delivery of our courses. Please note we have therefore limited number of spaces available and these will be assigned on a first come, first accepted basis. We recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.

Unlock the huge potential of granular behaviour modeling

How will you benefit?

Every bank wants to improve the quality of their risk metrics, to make them more transparent, to monitor and manage performance at a granular level and in real-time, and to eliminate time and cost throughout the process. Our goal is to help make that happen and new approaches to specific deposit risk problems make this possible, but how depends on you and the institution you serve.

We will ask you to share your background and interests in some detail, both before and during the seminar, because we believe that building and maintaining a risk culture within a bank requires that stakeholders from all levels come together to define their shared goals, as well as their particular roles in the context of the whole. We adopt that approach in our course, encouraging an informal “share-and-compare” relationship among participants. Together we will examine deposit management from every angle: regulation, governance, management, process, tools and resources.

We believe bank risk management is early into a cycle of integrating deposit and liquidity management  that will proceed from the focused and specific to the general, and we will follow along that path during the course, beginning with the basic/required, before proceeding to more advanced multi-purpose methods, and then mapping a route towards behavior analytics with the potential to unlock the huge potential of granular behavior modeling and prediction.

Together they have nearly fifty years of experience in all aspects of finance and bank risk management, both inside banks and as outside advisors in all aspects of asset-liability management and the measurement and control of balance sheets risks. They recently formed DDA Analytics® to provide server-based applications designed to enhance and streamline the performance of data-drive bank risk management measurement, monitoring and management processes.

Debb Gordon is a PhD with thirty-five years of experience solving risk and modeling problems within banks, financial services firms, government agencies and risk advisory firms.  Her resume features such prominent industry names as Citibank and Wells Fargo, Fair Isaacs, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and the U.S. Department of Treasury. Debb and ALCO Partners have worked together and collaborated on projects together for nearly two decades and have recently formalized a joint business undertaking to help banks of all sizes develop and implement data-driven analytics using statistical methodologies to model and predict customer-level credit and balance management behavior.

Pre-course questionnaire:

A detailed questionnaire will be sent to all course participants to establish exactly where the group training needs lie. The completed forms will be analysed by the course leader/trainer and followed by telephone if further clarification is required. As a result we can guarantee that the course is pitched at exactly the right level and that the issues that you regard as relevant are addressed. The course material will reflect these issues and will enable you to digest the subject matter after the event in your own time.
