“Understand the value of volatility and correlation when trading energy derivatives”

How will you benefit?

The volatility dimension of an option often gets overlooked due to lack of understanding of its benefits. However, when properly implemented, it becomes a strategic tool in a trader’s portfolio that can be used in a variety of ways to increase profitability. This course will provide a comprehensive run through of the necessary quantitative methodologies that are indispensible for traders wanting to trade volatility in energy markets.  The course will be highly interactive with discussions and hands-on activities that lock in concepts with realistic learning situations. Participants will work on a range of real life case studies and practical modeling exercises that will provide the basis for exploring non-obvious strategies for modeling volatility.
